Northwest Launches International Family Fares; Roundtrip Fares Start at $370 For Adults and $70 for Accompanying Children
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq: NWAC) today launched "International Family Fares" offering adults and accompanying children substantial savings on flights throughout its European and Asian network on travel through April 30, 2002.
Northwest's International Family Fares are available to the destinations listed below and have no blackout dates. Tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making reservations, but no later than November 30, 2001. Travel must originate by April 23, 2002.
A maximum of two adult fare-paying passengers are allowed per child fare paying passenger. Child fares apply to children 0-17 years of age.

TRANS-ATLANTIC TERMS & CONDITIONS: Purchase Requirements: Fares apply to listed destinations only. Fares apply for roundtrip travel in Coach Class. Tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making reservations but not later than November 30, 2001. A maximum of two adult fare-paying passengers are allowed per child fare paying passenger. Child fare applies to children 0-17 years of age. All passengers must confirm reservations, purchase tickets and check in for flights at the same time. All passengers must travel together on the same flights on the same days. Travel Dates: Fares are valid for travel originating by April 23, 2002. Travel must be completed by April 30, 2002. Blackout Dates: None. Stopovers: Not permitted. Minimum/Maximum Stay: Fares require a Saturday-night stay, with a maximum stay of 14 days. Additional Taxes/Fees: Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 roundtrip per person apply. Fares do not include departure/arrival/customs and immigration fees of up to $112. Changes to Itinerary: Changes may be made on the return trip only for a $150 administrative fee. Other Conditions: Tickets are nonrefundable. Seats are limited and may not be available. Travel must be via the following nonstop trans-Atlantic flights: 31/32/43/44/51/52/49/50. Fares are subject to change. Fares are subject to government approval. Other restrictions may apply.
