America West Announces Internet Fare Sale To Las Vegas
America West Airlines announced an Internet fare sale for select nonstop flights to Las Vegas. Last month, the airline announced several service enhancements for its Las Vegas hub including resuming additional flights to Atlanta and Indianapolis, which begin June 1, 2002. Now reduced fares for those flights are available through americawest.com .
Roundtrip tickets must be purchased by April 28 for travel through June 30, 2002. A seven-day advance purchase and one-night stay are required. The maximum stay is 30 days.
Customers who take advantage of these special fares will also receive 3,000 FlightFund bonus miles for every roundtrip ticket purchased at americawest.com with travel completed by Dec. 31, 2002.

Sale fares are available for travel on additional days, but prices are slightly higher. Sample fares do not include Passenger Facility Charges of up to $20 per itinerary, the new U.S. Security Fee of $2.50 per segment, up to $10.00 per itinerary or federal excise taxes of $3.00 per segment. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Flights may be provided by America West Airlines or America West Express, which is operated by Mesa Air Group and Chautauqua Airlines. Tickets are nonrefundable.
