FDR RESORTS ANNOUNCES ITS "WINTER GETAWAY" PROMOTION AT FRANKLYN D. RESORT AND FDR PEBBLES FOR THE WINTER
FDR Resorts, owners and operators of the Franklyn D. Resort and FDR Pebbles, has introduced its "Winter Getaway" promotion at the Resorts from January 1st - April 30th,2004 for families traveling on 3 and 4 night stays.
"We realize that some families do not have the time to take a long vacation during their busy schedules so we've created our "Winter Getaway" promotion just for them," states Ms. Marjorie Cunningham, Director of Sales. "Parents can visit our Resorts and truly unwind during their short stay, while their dedicated Vacation Nanny assigned to them on arrival at the Resort care for their kids." The "Winter Getaway" promotion includes a t-shirt, coffee and a bottle of rum to take home in addition to the regular all-inclusive features.
Rates start at US$130 per adult per night and US$30 per child 6-15 at FDR Pebbles and from US$170 per adult per night and US$50 per child per night 6-15 at the Franklyn D. Resort. Kids under 6 are free at both Resorts. Blackout dates do apply.
Families traveling for 5 nights and longer can take advantage of the 'Wings For Mom's' promotion where mothers save $350 on their airfares between January 1st - April 2nd, 2004.
The FDR Pebbles offers a holiday full of family fun and adventure. At FDR Pebbles, 96 cedarwood, oceanview and oceanfront junior suites, stretch along the 600' private beach. The whole family, including kids, pre-teens and teens, can participate in a wide range of activities like hiking, cycling trips on all-terrain bicycles, fishing, educational field trips to the Martha Brae River, and camping. The holiday includes buffet meals from a choice of 3 restaurants, wine with lunch and dinner, Sports Bar, tennis, live nightly entertainment, shopping and historical tour of Falmouth, Swamp Safari tour, all sporting activities, watersports including scuba diving, airport transfers, a cyber cafe, all hotel taxes and service charges. Franklyn D. Resort opened in April 1990 to offer families a vacation home away from home with its large all-suite accommodations and Vacation Nanny service. The FDR management team designed this 76 suite beachfront resort with families in mind. Children's activities include Nintendo, art and craft lessons, crazy dress up parties, shell collecting and a host of other activities.
