Rocking Tree Ranch has a program designed specifically for kids age 4 through 12. Each day the children will have a kids-only lesson with a natural horsemanship instructor. When the kids aren't busy working with their horses, they will be working on projects in the arts and crafts house with the kids wrangler, learning about horses and how to take care of them, as well as caring for the farm animals at the petting corral. At the end of the day, the kids will join their family for other activities.
Rocking Tree Ranch raises commercial cattle, and guests are always welcome to help with the various chores. Depending on the week and the time of year, activities can include branding, doctoring, and moving and caring for the cattle. Wranglers are ready to teach guests how to rope, team pen steers, and practice other cowboy skills. Kids can learn first-hand to be a real cowboy and families can make life-long memories.
