This family-friendly resort boasts the Bon Bini Kids Program for children five to 12 years olds for either half-day or full-day sessions ($35.00). Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino
The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino's 5,000 sq. ft. Camp Hyatt facility offers children, ages three - 12, the vacation experience of their dreams. Hyatt Resort's award-winning Camp Hyatt program was created to help children experience the wonders of the destination in a fun and educational atmosphere and secure environment. Options are also offered for families to spend quality time together, with everything from jeep safaris and snuba to all terrain vehicles and horseback riding. The Hyatt Regency Aruba also now offers a family concierge desk that will help families (pre-arrival and during ther trip) plan their on and off site activities. The Hyatt Regency Aruba's Camp Watapana features an arts & craft center, an on-site outdoor playground, a Nintendo Playstation, a 35-inch stereo TV and over 100 different types of games and toys. The Dutch Caribbean style facility was designed to keep children challenged and entertained, while teaching them about the destination. Activities include lessons in Papiamento, the island's native language, nature walks exploring the resort's array of wildlife including iguanas parrots and black swans and trips to the butterfly farm and aloe factory.
The Camp Hyatt facility is conveniently located near the resorts three-level pool complex with a winding waterslide and an adjacent dedicated game room filled with a variety of video, electronic and other participatory games. Long-time Camp Hyatt favorites like movies and popcorn, basketball and t-shirt painting and arts and crafts are also included on the activities roster. Camp Watapana runs year-round and is divided into morning-afternoon (9AM - 3PM) and afternoon-evening (6PM - 10PM) sessions. Sports are also big, with kids able to learn everything from tennis and basketball to salsa aerobics and sailing. Cooking classes are also a favorite from making pizza and cookies to even homemade ice cream. Each counselor works with a maximum of four children; two per counselor for offsite outings.
