TORONTO OFFERS WINTER FAMILY FUN PACKAGES

Families looking for a great value getaway this winter should consider Toronto, Ontario, which has just unveiled a number of family-oriented packages and events.

The world-famous Ontario Science Centre has launched a new "Family Fun Package" priced at just $199 CDN (about $150 US), which is a great family value. These $199 packages (all taxes included) are available from now until February 1, 2004 and include offers with a retail value of up to $400.

With each package, a family of four gets one night stay at a participating hotel such as the downtown Courtyard by Marriott, Ontario Science Centre Combination Passes for two adults (18-64 years) and two children (4-17 years) which include admission to the Science Centre and one film at the Shoppers Drug Mart OMNIMAX Theatre, four meal vouchers for lunch at the Science Centre, a Pizza Pizza meal voucher for one large pizza, two pre-selected children's gift items from the Mastermind gift shop, and discount coupons to a number of restaurants, attractions and retail outlets.

Starting November 29, families visiting the Ontario Science Centre will be able to enjoy "KidSpark", a new learn-through-play area specifically designed to foster creativity and early innovation skills in children eight and under. Visitors will also be able to explore the bizarre world of modern materials in "Strange Matter", an exhibition at the Centre until January 4, 2004, and dive into the beauty and danger of coral reefs in the new IMAX film Coral Reef Adventure.
