Owned by New York natives Risa and Robert Frackman, the 32-room Inn in Placencia, Southern Belize, has impressive distinctions: the most modern, well-equipped and best staffed PADI dive center in the area, complete with 48 PRO dive boat for daily two-tank dives and diving for whale sharks (during Whale Shark Season, April through June); a two-acre private island for a "Swept Away", get-away-from-it-all-vacations or day outings, with three wooden cabanas on stilts, housekeeping, and an island cook; fly fishing center with new 23' skiffs, licensed guides and instruction and a chance for a "grand slam." All of the tours are resort operated so it's possible to book in late afternoon for the following mornings outing.
On 15 acres with its own marina, the Inn offers beautifully appointed hacienda style accommodations, all beachfront or beach view.
