JOLLY BEACH RESORT TEES OFF 2004 WITH 'GOTTA GOLF' PACKAGE
Antigua's Jolly Beach Resort has teamed up with its neighbor the Jolly Harbour Golf Club to offer its guests a new golf option. And because Jolly Beach is an all-inclusive resort, it's only fitting that the "Gotta Golf" Package covers unlimited greens fees at Jolly Harbour.
The "Gotta Golf" Package adds US$105.00 per person for seven days of unlimited greens fees at Jolly Harbour Golf Club, which will also store guests' clubs free of charge. Complimentary transportation will be provided to the Golf Club on request by Jolly Beach.
Jolly Harbour Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 71 championship featuring sculpted green fairways and seven lakes and is a challenge for all calibers of golfer. The Golf Club also offers club rentals, US$15.00 (18 holes); motorized golf carts at US$25.00 (18 holes) and pull carts for US$5.00 per round.
Fees for the "Gotta Golf" Package are paid directly by guests to Jolly Harbour Golf Club on the first day; the Club accepts Visa and Master Card. Tee times can be booked in advance by phone at 268-462-7771 ext. 608 or by e-mail at golf@jollyharbourantigua.com. Golf Club guests are asked to follow the dress code: shirts with sleeves and collars, shorts or long pants; ladies should avoid short shorts.
At the end of the round golfers can retire their sand wedges for the mile- long white sand beach at Jolly Beach. There are two pools, pedal boats and kayaks, Sunfish sailboats, Hobie Cats and windsurfers. Sports buffs keep toned on basketball courts, tennis courts and in a Fitness Center. When it's time to relax there are five restaurants, five bars, and the Grand Princess Casino and Entertainment complex right next door.
All-inclusive rates at Jolly Beach start at $150.00 per person, per night based on double occupancy now through April 15, 2004, and $140.00 April 16 through December 20, 2004. Rates include accommodations, all meals, snacks and afternoon tea, house brand beverages, non-motorized water sports, activities and all taxes. All rooms are air-conditioned and face the ocean; each has a patio or balcony, direct-dial phone, cable TV, and hair-dryer.
