Pleasant Beefs Up Its "Kids Fly and Stay Free Program"
(Westlake Village, CA) Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays is adding to its media dollars significantly this summer to beef up its "Kids Fly And Stay Free" to Hawaii" program. In the media blitz, concentrated in New York and Chicago metro areas, the overall romotional expenditures will amount to nearly $700,000, according to company estimates. The Chicago Tribune, New York Times, and various new radio stations will carry the bulk of the message.
The "Kids Fly And Stay Free" program offers families in the mid-west and east an opportunity to vacation this summer in Hawaii at a greatly reduced cost. For a limited time, one child, between the ages of 2 and 17, who travels with two paying adults, flies free on Pleasant's non-stop "Air Cruise" flights from Chicago O'Hare and New York Kennedy to Honolulu and back.
According to Michael Gardiner, Pleasant Holidays' vice-president of marketing and product development, "Now is the time for families in the mid-west and east to experience the Hawaii of their dreams. The affordability and convenience of non-stop travel on Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays' "Air Cruise" can't be beat. There is not a better time to go to the Islands than this summer."
Two flights weekly will operate from both Chicago and New York, with travel dates June 8 through August 28, 2001, inclusive. Pleasant's non-stop, wide-body, scheduled "Air Cruise" is noted for its many amenities, including two free movies, two free meals, free wine with dinner, and more.
At participating properties, families can save with free nights, youngsters 17 and under stay free in their parents' room, and can even eat free off a special Kid's Menu with a paying adult.
