Worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International, Inc., is launching a Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee via its proprietary website, Choicehotels.com, that guarantees consumers the best online rates for stays at its Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brand hotels throughout the U.S. and Caribbean.
A traveler looking to take advantage of the Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee must simply have a confirmed reservation for a room at any domestic Choice Hotels brand hotel on Choicehotels.com, then shop for a better rate on alternative 3rd party travel web sites that identify the hotel and room rate prior to booking a room.(1) If a lower online rate is available, the traveler then submits a Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee claim form, found online at Choicehotels.com. Once the alternate rate is verified, Choice Hotels will adjust the traveler's original reservation to the lower rate - and take off an additional 10 percent.
The Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee becomes effective on March 28, 2003.
