'$50 Now Saves You $50 Later' Virgin Vacations Launches New Travel Program
NORWALK, Conn., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Virgin Vacations has initiated a new innovative booking program beginning March 24, 2003, designed to save travelers time and money. Their "Now and Later" program requires an initial deposit of just $50. When you are ready to travel, and book your vacation, we'll add to your deposit and you'll earn an additional $50 off any inclusive
package you select. Nothing else is required up front, and no other down payments are necessary.
In light of the current climate, we are aware of those who have some trepidation about committing to travel plans. And cancellation and change policies are sensitive to restrictions and book-by deadlines. By implementing this new program, Virgin Vacations has removed the prerequisite of committing to a specific date, and sweetened the deal at the same time.
The government is encouraging us to go about our daily lives and move ahead with personal travel plans and activities. We're hopeful that by removing some of the "red tape," you'll be more likely to plan an upcoming vacation or holiday in the near future. We have a few guidelines with this new program, and they are as follows: all deposits are non-refundable and must be made by April 9th, 2003 in order to qualify; travel must commence by December 31, 2003, and be completed by January 7, 2004; offer applies to new international air and land inclusive packages only, and payment is due in full at time of booking.
