ARUBA'S 'ONE COOL SUMMER' PROMOTION A REAL DEAL FOR VISITORS
Vacation Package Ideal for Honeymooners and Families
Summertime runs through December in Aruba, at least when it comes to vacation deals. The island, long known for offering visitors great travel programs such as the One Cool Honeymoon and One Cool Family vacation packages, is now taking it one step further. Aruba is pleased to announce its first annual One Cool Summer, which encompasses both the honeymoon and family vacation packages and is valid for travel between May 1-December 15, 2003.(a)
Aruba's One Cool Summer offers a variety of incentives for travelers including a fifth night free at participating resorts. The deal comes with the One Cool Value Card (OCVC), which offers more than $800 in savings through the island. Visitors wishing to take advantage of Aruba's One Cool Summer must book a minimum of four nights. Reservations must be made through any travel agent via any official Aruba tour operator.
"We are very excited to extend our travel packages with the addition of One Cool Summer. We want our visitors to get the most out of their vacation and by offering the program through the end of the year, visitors have more leverage to choose when they want to travel. After all, with its perfect weather, it always feels like summer in Aruba," said Marcial F. Ibarra, Aruba's director of tourism for North America.
In addition to a free night and value card, visitors can take advantage of festivals such as the Bonbini Festival, held every Tuesday, or the Watapana Food & Art Festival, held on Wednesdays. There are also music and sports events held throughout the summer and fall.
