Free Tank of Gas Included in 'Great American Road Trip' To Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone This Summer

VAIL, Colo., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- With gasoline prices expected to be slightly higher this summer, Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) is making it even easier for guests to visit its four Colorado mountain resorts with the "Great American Road Trip." The "Great American Road Trip" package includes a free tank of gas, discounted lodging rates at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone, and a host of other road-trip amenities.

When a guest purchases a Great American Road Trip package, they will receive a $25 American Express Stored Value Card. The card can be used towards the purchase of gasoline at any station in the United States that accepts the American Express card.

"Traditionally, summer is a time when families pack up the car and head on the road to their favorite vacation destination. Given the current economic climate and gasoline prices, we wanted to make our Colorado mountain resorts even more attractive for a summer vacation by helping out families," said Martin White, senior vice president of marketing and sales of Vail Resorts.

Guests also can take advantage of a variety of different lodging offers at all four resorts. The following per-night rates are being offered as part of this package and are valid now through September 14, 2003. Three-night minimum stays are required and the rates are subject to availability.
