New Wild Things Kid Adventure Program Now Part Of All-Inclusive Rate
The new Wild Things Kids Adventure Program has just been announced by Avalon Resorts, owners and operators of five resorts in Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Acapulco and Panama. The Wild Things Kids Adventure Program is designed for education, entertainment, and adventure. The activities engage kids in the flora and fauna of the surrounding environment while focusing on the customs, rituals and foods that define the area.
The Wild Things Kids Adventure Program is designed for kids ages 4-10 with kids over 10 welcome. The program is offered from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, including Saturday and Sunday. An optimal choice for families, parents will be able to enjoy their relaxing escape in a beautiful paradise, while their children embark on a full schedule of "wild" adventures.
A program exclusive to Avalon Resorts and distinctive within the destinations of Isla Mujeres, Acapulco and Cancun, The Wild Things Kids Adventure Program is offered at Avalon Reef Club, Avalon Excalibur, and Avalon Grand Cancun Upon check-in, kids will receive a complimentary "Attack Pack" loaded with goodies including a camera, T-shirt, cap, flip flops, lip balm, Band-Aids, and water removable "Wild Things" tattoos.
Avalon Resorts offers so many "wild" activities for kids. From creating Mayan sandals out of rope by hand, to making piñatas, to Mayan clay sculpting classes, they will even leave knowing how to make their own guacamole. The adventurers will create their own market crafts, learn to write their name in ancient hieroglyphics, build Mayan creations, and compete in races outside in the fine white sands bordering crystalline waters. Each day, the participants embark on a different walking tour throughout the resort. The Wild Walking Adventure features a fish tank display, a break at the kitchen to create personalized tortillas and then a visit to a vibrantly painted mural for a story about the region in which their respective resort is located. Later on, the tour will "Sink or Swim" at one of the various beach and sand events. After their fun in the sun and lunch by the sea, Avalon Resorts kids get into the action and adventure with an Olympic competition, arts and crafts, movies, and a talent show.
