Klondike Ranch: A Great Spot for Father/Son or Father/Daughter Bonding Adventures
Nestled in the Beautiful Big Horn Mountains near Buffalo Wyoming, lies the historic Klondike Ranch. Klondike is a working ranch located in one of North America's most historic and dramatic landscapes. Guest at the ranch help move cattle to new pastures and fish some of the finest trout water in the nation and enjoy the stunning scenic vistas.
Klondike Ranch offers superb angling for wild rainbow and German brown trout in scenic Crazy Woman Creek. This lovely water is a true American "blue ribbon" trout stream. The creek and private ponds produce memorable fighting fish up to 23 inches. Private ponds produce memorable 5 to 6 pound 'fighting' fish, and even the novice is sure to hook a rainbow or a speckled trout. Fishing trips and gear are included in full ranch vacations.
After a long day of fishing, soak away those sore muscles in the new hot tub while you chat or simply relax to the sound of nature. Guests eat authentic western meals served family-style, when they aren’t picnicking on a horse trip, or barbequing around the campfire.
Cabins at Klondike are spaced widely for privacy, each with its own bath. Guests are invited to participate in cattle drives, assisting in the care of the cattle, fixing fences, and routine ranch work. All day pack trips take guests over the Big Horns on remote trails which, until the turn of the century, were unknown to the white man.
All accommodation, meals, and activities are included in the rates, and rates are available at the Klondike Ranch website. For more information, visit their website at www.klondikeranch.com or call (800)362-2982; Fax (307) 684-0386.
