Families Gather For Fun In The Sun Orlando Family Spring BreakŪ 2005

As spring flowers bloom, so do the opportunities for families to spend quality time with one another in sunny Orlando for Family Spring BreakŪ, a celebration of reconnecting as a family. With more than 95 attractions, ranging from the largest and most diverse collection of theme parks in the world and a multitude of smaller attractions, to nature excursions and cultural offerings, the destination ensures that all family members will find their favorite pastime, or discover a new one.

Families looking for easy-to-book travel packages can do so on the destination's official Family Spring Break Web site, orlandoinfo.com/springbreak. Two-night travel packages including accommodations, one-day/one-park passes to Universal Orlando Resort, one-day admission to SeaWorld Orlando and one-day admission to Gatorland start at $540. Prices are based on a search done on Nov. 11, 2004 for a family of four with travel dates of March 15-16, 2005. Prices are subject to change. Additional discounted attraction tickets to Arabian Knights, Cirque du Soleil, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Orlando Science Center, Silver Springs and others can also be added to any of the packages booked online.

A visit during Orlando's Family Spring Break would not be complete without taking part in fun-filled indoor and outdoor festivals and events. For sports enthusiasts, basketball, baseball, golf, ice-skating, track and field and softball competitions take center stage. For bicycling enthusiasts, witness the Festival of Speed, an event that brings cyclists from around the world to downtown Orlando. For those who prefer art and music, the Orlando Philharmonic will present "Darden Family Series - Let the Games Begin" and the Orlando Museum of Art will showcase "Treasured Jewelry" and "Keeping Shadows." Families who want to get a little closer to nature can enjoy the 12th Annual International Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot or the 18th Annual Rose Show at Harry P. Leu Gardens.

Orlando's Family Spring Break provides the catalyst for families to spend quality time together and grow individually and as a family.
