Marriott Cancun Resorts Offer Special Deals and Amenities
On August 16th, the newly re-opened JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort officially kick-off a Season of Welcome by offering special deals and fun amenities to all guests staying at the beachfront resorts. These unique services include a complimentary poolside massage, a children's beach recovery program and celebratory gifts with a four-night minimum stay. This celebration, which has been established to welcome guests back after Hurricane Wilma, will be available until December 16, 2006.

From August 16 – December 16 visitors at the 448-room JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa can experience a “Nice to Have You Back” massage. For one hour every day (10 – 11 AM) guests may receive a complimentary 15-minute back massage available poolside. Furthermore, the resort will offer the complete “Nice to Have You Back” 50-minute massage for a cost of $85 (a 15% discounted rate) at the JW Marriott Spa.
Situated next door, the 452-room CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort is all about the family. This summer, children at the property's Kids Club will automatically be enrolled in a 30-minute class on beach recovery. Cancun recently completed a vast beach preservation program in the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma, and now the resort would like to celebrate its beautifully-restored beach by educating its younger guests on this environmental undertaking. The session, run by the CasaMagna Marriott Kids Club team, consists of bringing the children (6-10 years old) to the resort's beach and instructing the group on the recovery process. All participants will be given miniature shovels, hard hats, rakes, buckets and mini-carts to transport sand from point A to point B. All that participate will become official CasaMagna Cancun “BeachBuilders” and receive a special certificate.
Special offers will also be presented to everyone residing at both properties for a minimum of four nights between August 16 and December 16. Guests staying at the JW Cancun will receive a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries delivered to their room. At the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun guests receive a tortilla & guacamole tray, along with a fruit basket. By reserving the Sand Dollars package, one can stay for four nights at either property and get a fifth night for free, along with $100 that can be applied towards any of the dining experiences at both hotels. During the “Season of Welcome” rates range from $239 to $299 at the JW Marriott and from $169 to $249 at CasaMagna Marriott.
The JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort have undergone extensive renovations as a result of damages caused by Hurricane Wilma in October 2005. This fall, guests staying at the JW Marriott will enjoy numerous improvements including:

- 50 new beach palapas
- Six new beach cabanas
- Modern gym facilities
At the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa visitors will experience the following:

- Revamped gourmet experience at La Capilla Argentina, CasaMagna's Argentinean grill
Furthermore, both properties have upgraded their safety features to include special glazed hurricane-resistant windows as well an updated fire system. On the amenity side, flat screen TV's will be installed in all rooms at both resorts.
