Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and VTech Keep Kids Busy & Parents Happy

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and VTech® Electronics North America today announced that VTech educational gaming systems will be featured in more than 3,000 Wyndham guest rooms and suites in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. To celebrate the introduction of these systems, the company has announced a new Wyndham VTech Family Resort Offer, providing a four-night stay for the cost of three at participating Wyndham resorts in family-friendly destinations such as Orlando, FL; Nassau, the Bahamas; Playa del Carmen, Mexico; and Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

VTech's V.Smile "Turns Game Time Into Brain Time" features educational content, characters children love and a video game platform that connects directly to the television. Utilizing entertaining, exchangeable games on Smartridges™, V.Smile teaches children ages three and up language skills, math, vocabulary words and problem-solving.

The V.FLASH Home Edutainment System is a video game console for children ages six and up that packs video game action with educational content. V.FLASH combines high-quality sound, 3-D graphics, real-life images and educational video gaming into a system that connects directly to the television. V.FLASH uses exclusive V.DISC software to take kids through exciting environments and video that makes learning an adventure.

"We wanted to offer traveling families a quality entertainment alternative during their down time," said Kevin Rupert, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts vice president of marketing and strategy. "VTech educational gaming systems will keep kids engaged and make parents happy, which is just one more way Wyndham Hotels and Resorts provides value for guests to create the best vacation experience."

Julia Fitzgerald, vice president of marketing, VTech Electronics North America, said her company is dedicated to making learning fun. "Through our partnership with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, we can extend learning to families while they vacation and complement Wyndham Hotels and Resorts' fun-packed vacation packages," she said. "We're thrilled with the opportunity to provide children with our educational toys wherever life takes them."
