Do your kids think they can dance? If so, their great dance moves might win your family a free vacation to Club Med.
In celebration of Mini Club Med’s new theme song Dance in the Sun, Club Med is encouraging kids to choreograph their own official Club Med dance. The contest, launched on Club Med’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, carries a grand prize of a seven-night all-inclusive family vacation to Club Med for the winning choreographers.
Earlier this year, Club Med invited youngsters and the young at heart to vote for Mini Club Med’s theme song online. After three weeks of voting, fans chose Dance in the Sun. Now, Club Med is encouraging kids ages 17 and under to create their own Crazy Signs to go with the winning song. For Club Med novices, Crazy Signs is a set of choreographed moves guests perform as a group at Club Med – similar to the Macarena or Electric Slide. The winning dance will be named Club Med’s official Crazy Signs Dance for Dance in the Sun. Children attending Mini Club Med throughout the Americas will learn the steps.
Contestants must be 17 years of age and under to enter the contest. To submit your contest entry, upload a video of the dance moves on YouTube and send the link to crazysigns@clubmed.com. For complete contest rules, favorite video submissions, links to the download Dance in the Sun and to post comments on the contest, login to www.clubmedcrazysigns.blogspot.com. Videos must be posted on YouTube by September 15, 2008. The winner will be announced September 30, 2008.
