Take A Nick Family Getaway At The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort
This summer, kids and parents can find extra cool family fun in Tucson, Arizona. JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa has teamed with Nickelodeon to offer an exclusive Nick Getaway program. The partnership welcomes SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer – as well as several new family-friendly Nickelodeon-themed activities – to Starr Pass.
Nick Getaways at Starr Pass were designed and developed for the entire family. The spirit and enthusiasm of Nickelodeon will bring new excitement to several major areas on resort property, most notably by the pool. The Nick Getaway program will begin May 29, 2009, and will last every weekend throughout summer 2009.
There will be several key programs within the Nickelodeon partnership to energize family vacations. One option, Dive-In Movies, will be offered free at the pool along with a selection of complimentary snacks.
Beginning in June 2009, join one of Nickelodeon’s Character Breakfasts every Saturday morning in a private section of the resort’s dining room. SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer will be in attendance to hang out with kids, take photos and just have fun.
For high-energy afternoons, poolside entertainment includes Nickelodeon-produced skits, interactive games, contests and races…capped off with a hilarious Nickelodeon-style sliming! Catch one of these Nick Live! performances every Saturday afternoon at 2 pm or 3:45 pm.
Nickelodeon arts and crafts will also be available poolside every Saturday afternoon. Crafts include decorating flip-flops, t-shirt making and creating sand art, a great way for kids to get creative.
