Florida's All-Inclusive Club Med Sandpiper Bay Opens Transformed
All-inclusive family vacation lovers: it's time to rejoice! Club Med Sandpiper Bay located in Port St. Lucie, Florida, has reopened after undergoing a $25 million renovation. This new Sandpiper Bay resort is the flagship of Club Med's "premium sports" properties with elite sports training programs and state-of-the-art facilities.
The transformed 216-acre Sandpiper Bay features two new restaurants, the Slice Bar & Lounge, four swimming pools including an infinity pool exclusively for adults and a certified lap pool. Enhanced accommodations include spacious Deluxe Family Rooms offering separate bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms with plenty of space for the entire family. Club Med creates personalized experiences for kids from four months to 17 years old with their children's and teens' programs and activities. Sandpiper Bay welcomes the Raggs' canine characters from the public television series to interact with children in fun and educational programs. New facilities for younger guests at Sandpiper Bay include a Kidz Village with a splash park, an art center and Latitude 27◦, a new lounge for juniors. A full range of kids and teens programs are offered at this resort including Baby Club Med (4 to 23 months of age), Petit Club Med (2 to 3 years old), Mini Club Med (4 to 7 years of age), Kids Club Med (8 to 10 years old) and Juniors' and Teen's Club Med (11 to 17 years old). Tweens and teens are divided into two age groups for programs and activities.
Home to the new Club Med Academies, Sandpiper Bay offers a world-class training environment in tennis, golf and fitness with coaching from reputable experts in the sports industry. Coaches include Gabe Jaramillo, who trained the likes of Agassi and Seles, Brad Brewer, host of Golf Channel's Daily Brew, and professional tri-athlete and five-time Ironman Champion Heather Gollnick.
