Located on 5,500 acres in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Skytop Lodge has a great deal to offer families this autumn. During the fall months, however, many guests simply choose to hike the property and admire the resort's beautiful scenery.

It's a great resort to use as a home base for those who wish to explore the area. Skytop's Family Plan allows kids under 17 to stay free in their parents' rooms. Children staying in their own rooms (connecting rooms are available) are charged half-price. The resort's rates include three full meals each day.
Every Edgar Allen Poe Weekend features a Prince's Ball, Poe's Freakish Feasts, Poe Shows, Children's Stories and Games, tableside entertainment and a Grand Magic Show followed by a scary laughing contest.
