This lodge has been owned and operated by the Trapp Family since 1950. The movie "The Sound of Music" was based on their family. The resort has an Austrian feel and European specialties are served in the dining room.
There are two childrens programs. The Little People's Program is for kids ages 3-5 and the Mountain Kids Club is for ages 6-12. Parents can enjoy many activities including: the beauty of Vermont, interesting workshops, sing-a-longs and concerts.
