Camping in Coastal Ventura County
by Bob Carter

It's an ideal location for anyone who likes the slow life and dreams of opportunities to visit farmers' markets, stroll along shoreline tidepools, watch whales, bald eagles, and dolphins, or sample some of nature's top-notch outdoor recreation.

Travelers who enjoy camping in tents, tent trailers, trailers, or motor homes will find a wide selection of facilities in the Ventura County area. Since the variety of offerings is diverse, it's wise to call ahead regarding campground details and reservations.
