Organization: This organization blends applied research and conservation projects in efforts to reverse the worldwide decline of sea turtles. Its programs in Costa Rica seek volunteers: CCC & STSL :: CCC's Costa Rica Programs & Projects

Project Types: Marine turtle and migrant and resident bird research.

Location: Tortuguero, Costa Rica

Project Dates and Duration: June through November for turtle projects

Special Skills Required: Good physical condition, the ability to work with others, Spanish proficiency, and the ability to maintain a sense of humor in spite of occasional inclement weather. Must be 18 years of age or older. An application process is required.
