Eckert's Farm near St. Louis has all the makings of a great family getaway. You can pick your own apples in the 30 acre orchard, hang out with the cows, sheep, ducks, and chickens, try your luck in the Maize (corn) Maze, use child sized tractors on the tractor riding path and obstacle course, or build your own scarecrow.
On weekends the Fun Corral is host to more festival activities including a giant crawl-though caterpillar, face painting, pony rides and delicious Red Apple food stand and Country Music stage.
