This 460-acre working farm is located on the Meramec River about 70 miles southwest of St. Louis. In addition to gathering eggs and feeding the horses, kids can romp in the hay, visit the swimming hole, and go tubing or canoeing with their parents on the river. In the winter, cross-country skiing and skating is also available. Guests are treated to home-cooked breakfasts and a big Saturday night dinner if they're lucky enough to be there. The farm welcomes guests all year round, and special children's rates are available. Kids under 6 years of age stay free.
