Arizona Biltmore

The Phoenix/Scottsdale area is a super destination for families with children of all ages. In addition to a host of great attractions, there are also a wealth of family-friendly resorts to choose from including the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch, the Wigwam, the Phoenician, and the Hilton Pointe Resorts. One of the best options is the Arizona Biltmore.

This "Jewel of the Desert" is a great family resort located at the base of Squaw Peak Mountain. There are breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain. It is close to Phoenix and Scottsdale.

Arizona has more than 300 days of sunshine per year and the Biltmore takes full advantage of this weather. Activities include bicycling, athletic club, championship putting course, two 18 hole golf courses, jogging paths, lawn games, swimming in 5 heated pools and 3 whirlpool spas, 92 foot water slide and tennis courts. Their recreational amenities should really be taken advantage of!

There are holiday programs for the whole family as well as the Biltmore Kids Club. Children ages 4-12 can participate in poolside activities at the Kids Kabana. Older children ages 10-14 can be members of the Biltmore Kids Club. They offer day and evening activities including golf and tennis clinics, casino nights, indoor team sports and pool games.

The 600 guest rooms and suites were recently remodeled. There are four restaurants at the Biltmore. The Cabana Club Restaurant has a children's menu.

Area attractions include Phoenix Zoo, South Mountain Park, Out of Africa Wildlife Park, Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours and Cowboy Adventures.
