This award-winning children's museum offers many activities to involve children in their world. Take your kids to the museum's "Ballroom", where they can roll and tumble in 80,000 plastic balls - certainly much bigger than the typical "McDonald's" play area has to offer! There's also "KidSlope", where the children try out skiing - even in the middle of the summer.
In addition to these more active attractions, the museum offers a number of more sedentary and classic hands-on displays. For a multitude of activities, play and interaction, come to The Children's Museum. This is the place where families learn and play together whether it's simply enjoying one of the many arts and crafts activities, a theatre performance, or discovering one of the exciting exhibits. Hours: Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed on Mondays. Admission: $3.50 for children aged 1-2 and seniors 60+. $6.50 for aged 3-59; members and children aged under one are free.
