This 1913 L-shaped building was originally used as a crew house for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. The inn will delight railroad buffs and give children a taste of the once thriving railroad days. Each of the guest room doors has a brass plaque with the name of one of the men who stayed at the crew house. There is a conductor's uniform and china from a dining car.
Activities include: horse-drawn covered wagon rides, paddock facilities, trail rides, river rafting, floating, hiking, fishing, apple picking, cross-country skiing and sleigh rides. Nearby: old towns to explore. Special events as planned by the innkeepers.
The dining room is a relaxed atmosphere. There are barbeques in the yard and other delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Additional meals can be pre-arranged
