Atlantis

Our kids swooned over Atlantis, the glitzy resort and casino on Paradise Island. Why? Well, perhaps it was the pool, which stretches out for what seems to be forever across the huge open courtyard. It includes a great lazy river ride which takes you past palm trees and under waterfalls, as well as a cool waterslide. Or - maybe it was the Predator's Pool filled with sharks, fish and other sea creatures. There are many gigantic aquariums and sealife pools all over the resort. Children, and adults are uniformly fascinated.

In addition to the incredible waterpark, there's a great kids program, a beautiful white-sand beach, watersports, and kid-friendly restaurants (check out Sea Grapes). For parents, there's the huge casino, shows and evening entertainment, and a number of restaurants to choose from. For a romantic evening out, get a babysitter and go to dinner at The Ocean Club just down the beach. This tony resort is one of the most beautiful in the tropics. You'll dine on gourmet food in an open-air courtyard under the stars, then take a stroll through the terraced Versailles Gardens up to the twelfth century French cloister on the hill, or walk along the white sand beach back to the Atlantis. It will be an evening to remember.
