Washington: Whale Watching

If you're planning on being up near Seattle this summer, you might want to take a whale watching trip to see the Orcas. Late May through mid-September is one of the best times to see these beautiful creatures.

Go out with the Mosquito Fleet into the Puget Sound around the San Juan Islands, and you'll see these whales "most of the time", according to the folks who run these trips. If you'd like more information, you can contact the Mosquito Fleet www.whalewatching.comin Everett, Washington at (800) 325-ORCA. If you get some good pictures, send one or two down to us so we can share them online with other FTN members.
