In Alabama's northeast corner is Lake Guntersville, complete with a State Park lodge, convention center and excellent fishing. This area features over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, scenic drives, and a lake teeming with largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill. Lake Guntersville has hosted the nation's largest continuous-running boat race, the Dixie Cup Regatta, and Bassmaster fishing tournaments. Families will find eight public launch areas with eight full-service marinas. If you don't have a boat, fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats and sailboats are available for rent by the hour, day or week.
