Jackson Lake is located in Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park. The lake is famed for its spectacular beauty; this is where "The Virginian" was written and where "Shane," the cowboy movie, was filmed. Jackson, about 30 miles from the lake, is the home of many staged western comedies to delight the whole family. The Grand Teton Music Festival is held here in July and August, and the skiing here is world-renowned.

Jackson Lake Lodge is a full service resort on the lake with glorious views of the Grand Tetons. The lodge is open from May 20th to October 10th and offers canoeing, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding, a large heated outdoor swimming pool, scenic Snake River float trips, lake cruises on Jackson Lake, bus tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. This is a relaxing resort in a beautiful location.
