Teenagers receive special pampering at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. The historic resort, now celebrating its 75th anniversary, has recently created a new spa menu just for teens called "It's All About Me, from Head to Toe".
"We've seen an accelerating trend recently of moms bringing their daughters to the spa to introduce them to the types of treatments and services available today," said Patricia Schneider, spa director. "With this growing demand, coupled with teenagers becoming more sophisticated about the spa experience, we decided to set a precedent by offering a special menu specifically for teens."
Schneider added that the resort now offers treatments and services that cater to guests of every generation, from kids and teens to adults. A Poolside Spa caters to kids with natural henna body art, hair braids, and manicures and pedicures with nail art.
The new Teen Spa Menu at the Arizona Biltmore Resort includes:
Fresh Face Purifying Facial: A deep cleansing and balancing facial that adds moisture where it is needed and rids the skin of excess oils. It calms, soothes, and treats unwanted blemishes. 50 minutes
Perfect Hands Manicure: This treatment delights the senses as hands become soft and glowing. The Spa's lemon cream exfoliates away the rough spots. Buffing and polish follow an application of lemon verbena hand softener to keep hands fresh for weeks. 30 minutes
Pretty Feet Pedicure: An array of aromas begins with a grapefruit foot soak. Then, the feet are scrubbed and rubbed into an abyss of softness with sweet orange and rosemary sea salts. Finally, the treatment ends with a drenching application of peppermint foot balm and a choice of polish. 60 minutes.
The Spa's facilities include 17 treatment rooms, two outdoor treatment rooms, three spa pools, steam rooms, saunas, locker facilities, and a full-service beauty salon. The attached Fitness Center provides state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight training equipment as well as an aerobics room.
