Paving the way for the initiation of a younger generation into the benefits of spa therapies, The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa has added a new teen program to their spa's roster of treatments.
The Mountain View Grand is pleased to be among the earliest group of resorts in the country to recognize the need to provide teens with options on the resort's spa menu. "It is a great opportunity to help young people establish early healthy lifestyle habits while attracting a new generation of Spa-goers," says Allisyn Marthers, Director of the Tower Spa and Salon.
The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa prides itself on being a family-oriented resort and has seen a steady influx of families with older children and teenagers coming to stay. The Spa offers a serene environment that is fresh and airy, yet tranquil and relaxed. Teens will enjoy the panoramic views of 57 majestic mountain peaks while discovering important fundamentals for healthy grooming.
The resort's full day teen-oriented package includes:
* A Teen Facial with deep pore cleansing and a skin care lesson focusing on cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturizing plus, the importance of incorporating sunscreen into daily regiment.

This includes a foot aromatherapy bath, reflexotherapy massage, nail trimming and foot mask, a treatment of the hands and nails, a hand massage and special nail nurturing lotion application.

The 145-room Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa, an 1865 Colonial Revival resort, has recently concluded a massive $20 million dollar restoration. Once a haven for presidents and Hollywood stars, the Mountain View Grand reopened its doors on May 22, 2002.
The Mountain View Grand is located about 160 miles from Boston, 110 miles from Manchester, New Hampshire, 90 miles from Concord, New Hampshire, and 100 miles from Burlington, Vermont. Set among the foothills of the White Mountains just north of Franconia Notch, this architectural treasure has been fully restored to its original state and features a full-service European spa, a challenging 100-year-old golf course, gourmet dining at Juliet's, and The Back Room At Nicky Finn's, a night club reminiscent of a roaring 20's speakeasy. Situated on nearly 400 acres of wilderness, the resort offers access to year-round recreational activities including hiking, biking, and swimming. During the winter months, outdoor activities are offered at Jumpin' Jack Frost's Nordic Center, including ice-skating, snow-tubing, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dogsled rides and much more.
