In the late spring of 2002, The Homestead began providing a new experience for families by offering an array of treatments and services designed to offer parents, teens and children an unforgettable shared spa experience.
The Homestead views its menu of custom-designed spa offerings for kids and teens as a perfect fit with its reputation as one of America's most family friendly luxury resorts. Designed for guests under the age of 16, these offerings provide the perfect platform for youngsters to discover the joys of spa life with their parents, and an opportunity to get an important head start on health and wellness.
"The Homestead has always been a place where people connect with their family and friends," said Gary K. Rosenberg, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We wanted to create an atmosphere where people could do that while enjoying the Spa experience." As a complete destination resort, The Homestead offers a wide variety of amenities for the entire family.
In the resort's Spa Suite, kids can get a head start on stress management with the custom-designed "Kids Massage" (parent or guardian presence required). Others can learn how to take care of their skin with a "Teen Facial," designed for acne-prone skin and including a take home regimen for future care. "Make Up For Me" instructs its participants in how to properly and judiciously apply makeup to ensure that youth’s natural beauty shines its brightest. Meanwhile, the youngsters opting for "Fancy Feet" learn the "delicious" pleasures of the pedicure by soaking their tootsies in a chocolate milk bath, while "Fun Fingers" features a strawberries and cream version of The Homestead's classic manicure.
Finally, youngsters can get coiffed in style thanks to such options as "Creative Hairstyling" (where they might learn how a stylish French Twist or Updo might be the ticket for an elegant night out); "Trim the Tresses" (featuring a shampoo, cut and blow dry for ages eight and younger; and "My First Haircut," a memorable first snip for kids one year and under.
When visiting The Homestead's Spa Suite, children and teens enter into a comfortable lounge area off of which they will discover a common area where guests can receive simultaneous nail and hair therapies. The lounge also features a series of adjoining private treatment rooms offering a full complement of body and facial treatments and services. The Spa Suite is available to all Homestead guests and to day groups of six people or more. The Homestead KidSpa can also be reserved for special events such as: Birthday Parties, Prom Parties, Graduation Celebrations, Family Reunions and Holiday Parties.

Massage Therapy
KidSpa Massage - Massage therapy is a wonderful experience that will help the younger set learn to deal with future stress and tension. Receiving regular massage may also help prevent sports injuries and increase flexibility. Please keep in mind a parent or guardian must be present for this session.
Facial Therapy
Teen Facial - An intensive facial treatment designed for acne prone skin. A personalized skincare regime will be created and given to each guest for at-home skincare.
My First Facial - Designed not only to be relaxing, but also to be a learning tool in proper facial care. This facial experience will treat each guest to a thorough cleansing and toning of the skin, a gentle mask with steam and a facial massage.
Make-up for Me - A personalized make-up lesson to teach moderate make-up application techniques to enhance youth's natural beauty.
Nail Therapy
Fancy Feet - A treatment that is fun for your feet. Your feet will be soaked in a chocolate milk bath, dry skin removed, nails trimmed and soles moisturized with a chocolate soufflé lotion. The final touches are added with a polish application.
Fun Fingers - A strawberries and cream version of our Homestead manicure designed to pamper even the smallest of fingers.
Hair Therapy
Creative Hairstyling - A stylish French twist or updo can turn a casual dinner into an elegant evening.
Trim The Tresses - For those eight years and younger, a shampoo, cut and blow dry.
My First Haircut - A snip for the tot twelve months and younger. Includes a picture of the momentous event.

Siblings or best friends can enjoy Fancy Feet and Fun Fingers together.
Coming of Age
Celebrating the mother and daughter bond, mom receives a manicure, herbal pedicure, and mini facial and daughter enjoys Fancy Feet, Fun Fingers and My First Facial.
The Boys
Designed to pamper the men in the family, this package consists of a 30 minute massage for dad and son.
Generations
This spa package allows families to start a new family tradition of rejuvenation with grandmother, daughter and granddaughter. Grandma and daughter will each enjoy a mini facial and manicure while the granddaughter is pampered with My First Facial and Fun Fingers.
