Escape To A Lake
If the weather forecast predicts a sunny weekend this fall, pack up the kids and escape to a lake! There are many family-friendly lakes around the country offering a wide variety of activities. The scenery is beautiful and it's a great place to enjoy the colorful fall foliage mirrored on the lake's surface.
Most lake resorts have supervised programs for children. Some offer similiar programs for the adults as well. Common activities include boating, waterskiing, sailing, tubing, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, and fall festivals and carnivals.
