Resort Overview: Casa de Campo is located on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is called, "The Caribbean's most complete resort!" Guests may fly directly into the resort's own international airport and stay in their 300 casita rooms and 150 villa homes. The Altos de Chavon is an operating artists' village dedicated to the arts and is a center of culture in the Dominican Republic. There are restaurants and local crafts shops selling handmade jewelry and pottery through the winding streets. Families will love the program Kidz 'n Casa that features Kidz' Care for guests ages 9 months and up.
Accommodations: Casa de Campo has just redecorated their 300 hotel (casita) rooms. Casa de Campo's two-, three- and four-bedroom villas offer a private home setting, complete with living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and terrace. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and has a private bathroom. Each villa has one master bedroom with King or Queen size bed, other bedrooms have two double beds. Total number of beds per villa: three beds in a 2-Bedroom, five beds in a 3-Bedroom and seven beds in a 4-Bedroom villa. Rollaways available for children only. Children's Programs: Kidz' Care is for guests 9 months and up. It is a supervised baby-sitting service that is available nightly with dinner and activities at the Kidz' Club, or at your accommodation for $5.00 per hour. The year-round Kidz'n Casa supervised children's program runs daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm, including lunch and activities for toddlers 3-5 years old. Rate per child, per day $20.00 + 10% government tax and 8% service charge. There is a minimum of two English speaking counselors are on duty at all times.
Golf: Casa de Campo offers guests two 18-hole courses designed by Peter Dye. "The Teeth of the Dog" is the only course in the world with seven holes skirting the Caribbean Sea. It is a par 72. "The Links," is an inland, rolling course with water coming into play on five holes. This is par 71 course.
Tennis: Casa de Campo's La Terraza Tennis Center features 13 Har-True courts, 10 are lighted for night play. Clinics and lessons are available through the Pro Shop.
Swimming: Guests can enjoy 15 swimming pools including a special children's and lap pools at the main area of the resort.
