Resort Overview: The Sunsail Beach Club is the Sunsail Vacations' first land-based resort. The resort is located just four miles from Antigua's capital St.John's and three miles from the International Airport. Guests will be comfortable in the club's 123 rooms, suites, and two and three bedroom villas. The resort features three restaurants, two bars, a freshwater swimming pool and a full range of high quality sailing and watersports equipment and instruction. The all day Kids clubs take care of children from as young as 4 months up to 16 years. Children are supervised and cared for by a team of experts including fully qualified nannies for the younger children and babies.
Accommodations: Sunsail features 75 spacious guest rooms, 30 suites and 18 two and three-bedroom villas. All are tastefully decorated in rich, Caribbean-inspired colors and equipped with Italian tile, air-conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini-fridge and in-room safes. Plus, Sunsail includes cribs, port o'cribs and strollers as needed for your convenience.
Restaurants: Dining facilities include Coast for fine cuisine, a separate PizzaUno Pizzeria, and a casual Beach Restaurant. The resort also features five bars, the beach bar, Gazebo, poolside bar, Sugar Mill and Uno Bar. Don't worry Mom and Dad, Sunsail has plenty and proper highchairs with trays rather than the standard wooden chairs found in most restaurants in the US.
Children's Programs: The Kids' Clubs are open all year round and open to kids aged 3-16 at no extra charge. Sunsail also features the option of nannies for younger children and sailing instruction for older kids. The Mini Club, for babies from 4 months to 2 years old is available at an additional cost of $210 per week, with one qualified nanny for every three children. High chairs and cots are provided. The Baby Club room provides sterilizing equipment and other essentials. Your toddler will have fun in the children's pools, play areas and sand boxes.
Tennis: Sunsail features a floodlit court for use.
Swimming: Sunsail has two private white sand beaches and an expansive, freshwater swimming pool. Your children will love swimming with their friends from the Children's programs and are carefully supervised by the Nannies and club supervisors. You can feel reassured too that all Nannies, Supervisors and sailing instructors are CPR/lifesaving certified.
Other Activities and Amenities: Sunsail features an array of watersports including: windsurfers, dinghies, day cruising yachts, water skiing, inner tube rides, scuba and snorkeling. Guests can also go sailing on Sunsail's state-of-the-art sailing equipment available for no extra charge -- The Topper Breeze, Buzz, Spice, Sport 16, Topaz, Laser 1's and Dart 16 catamarans. Other activities include: beach volleyball, table tennis, and also an option to split up your vacation between land and a sea sailing excursion. .
