The Vermont Teddy Bear Company(tm) Let a "Bear Ambassador" take you on a fun tour of the world of Vermont Teddy Bears. On this hands-on tour, not only will you learn about the company and the growth of its teddy bear line, but you'll participate in helping to bring to life a real, live teddy bear.

Your "Bear Ambassador" will help your family put on aprons and head into the workshop. Here, you'll see machines stamp out bear parts from rolls of fur, while workers assemble teddy bearparts from the inside out. Each of the parts are sewn together, and the bears are pumped with stuffing into they are big and cuddly.
Then it will be time for you to do your turn. You'll get to brush a brand-new teddy bear's fur, fluff it up, and watch it be dressed and packed for shipping. Don't worry .... you can always stop in the gift shop and take one home. Undoubtably, there's one waiting just for you.

Open: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12- 4 p.m. Tours take place every hour on the hour, although they become more frequent during the summer months and fall foliage season. The factory is closed on holidays. Production is limited on weekends.

Age Limits: None.

Cost: Free.
