Hailed as one of the most innovative roller designs of the 20th century, Batman The Ride is an impressive new addition to Arlington's Six Flags Over Texas. It is a one-of-a-kind radiating yellow coaster track with high speed sleek black trains, suspending riders from the steel coaster track.
Riders will feel the bottom literally drop out as they soar out of the Batcave four abreast to experience the gravity forces and the excitement of racing at 50 mph, feet dangling in the wind. Once out of the Batcave, a 10-story climb is in order before flying up and over a heart-pounding 77-foot-tall vertical loop.
The ride is 109.5 feet tall with two ski lift-style trains that hang beneath the track. Riders pass through a striking entry portal, detailed with gothic gargoyle sculptures and dramatic architecture, as they enter Gotham city. Before The Ride starts, guests are taken through Bruce Wayne's Gotham City park, down into the eerie, underground tunnels beneath Gotham and finally, into the Batcave.
