Welcome to Cypress Gardens

This unique theme park has been drawing visitors since 1936. Cypress Gardens is a 200-acre "must-see" tropical theme park noted for its beautiful plants and flowers and its world-famous water ski shows. It is located off U.S. Hwy. 27 just 22 miles south of I-4 between Orlando and Tampa on the shores of Lake Eloise and Lake Summit near Winter Haven. Some of the greatest water skiers in the world have worked at this park, and the shows are truly outstanding. In addition, you'll find magic shows, animal shows and a baby animal nursery, a model railroad, tours of Lake Eloise, and those world-famous Southern Belles dressed in period costumes. The park offers lots of rides and a variety of places to eat. Don't miss the cookies from the bakery!

What's New: The "Fairy Tales On Ice Show" features skaters in a swirl of stunning costumes and lavish new sets. The show stars great athletes from Russia, including many former Olympic skaters. Their performances showcase both their athleticism and grace on the ice. The show features four new sets and special props such as a campfire, a crib, elaborately crafted dolls, Sleeping Beauty's detailed bed and ornate thrones for the King and Queen. The new show traces the story of Sleeping Beauty's dreams after she pricks her finger at Another new show at Variete Internationale is called European Circus Magic. It features popular clowns Zaripov and Gratchik who weave together the magic acts with their zany antics. Prior to the show, the clowns warm up the crowd with humorous magic routines. In Nature's Arena, where a variety of alligators, crocodiles, snakes, raptors, coatimundis and cotton-topped tamarins are on display, "Raptors and Reptiles" is performed. Bruce Shwedick, noted international crocodilian conservation expert and educator, presents this educational yet entertaining show which is staged in a non-threatening setting. Diamondback rattlesnakes and anacondas join the show's cast of common and not-so-familiar species, including gila monsters, rhinoceros iguanas, veiled chameleons, turtles, lizards, juvenile alligators and crocodiles. A 15-foot-long albino python, "Banana Boy," is the star of this show.
