To some people, every mall is an amusement park, but that's kind of a figure of speech. At West Edmonton Mall, that "figure of speech" becomes a reality. Galaxyland, a 9 acre amusement park, is completely contained indoors in the huge, $1 billion West Edmonton Mall ... sometimes referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". The park itself offers a myriad of rides and entertainment, including a triple-looping roller coaster, a huge water park with over 20 slides and a wave pool, a full-size ice skating rink, a miniature golf course, dolphin shows, and more. You won't find a lot of food in the park itself, but the mall (with over 800 stores) can more than satisfy your needs.
What's New: Visit Galaxyland's newest addition - The Haunted Castle and Fun House. Journey through a castle filled with mummies, a dungeon, a crypt room and more, with plenty of surprises along the way. The 3-D Fun House is full of optical illusions sure to play with the senses
Rates: Admission to the park is $24.95 (General Admission) and $18.95 for kids. (Canadian Dollars).
