You'll find lots of country music, crafts, rides and more at this theme park co-owned by country music star Dolly Parton. Dollywood features 30+ rides and attractions, over 40 show performances daily, dozens of master craft showcases daily, plus over 250,000 flowers and the natural beauty of the Smokies. Dollywood is proud to offer special kid's meals at 10 different restaurants. There are lots of free music shows throughout the day, opportunities to pan for gold, Dolly Parton memorabilia, and the usual assortment of incredible action rides and water rides. What sets this theme park apart, however, is the Craftsmen Valley area. Here you'll get a chance to experience the arts and crafts, music and food of the Smoky Mountain area. This is a great theme park to visit while touring the area around Gatlinburg and the Great Smokies.

What's New: For the 2000 season, play in the treetops and let your imagination soar in Dolly's Dreamland Forest featuring the World's Largest Interactive Treehouse, an imaginative and colossal attraction of fun featuring hundreds of interactive games and gadgets that will delight toddlers to teenagers to treehouse lovers of all ages. The interactive games, fun and attractions in the new Dreamland Forest begin in two giant treehouses that tower three stories into the Smoky Mountain clouds, where games and innovative gadgets include a birdhouse village, grapevine gossip phones, glowing jars filled with fireflies, a chipmunk's house, "hollering tubes," June Bug Kites, a magic looking glass, and a variety of interactive experiences with the Forest's animalsDolly's Dreamland Forest can accommodate up to 1000 kids at play at any time in its 15,000 square feet of safe, interactive fun. Benches have been placed throughout the area so that parents and grandparents can enjoy the sights of the new area while their little forest adventurers play. And at the edge of the Dreamland Forest, Dollywood visitors will find both food and merchandise areas with a nature theme.

Rates: One-day Admission (Regular Season) Regular (Ages 12+): $34.25; Child (Ages 4 - 11): $24.30; Senior (Ages 60+): $28.70.

Park Hours: The park is open from mid April through December. The Grand Opening Weekend is April 15-16. The park has several opening hours depending on time of year, call ahead for details or visit their schedule on their website.
