Moose Creek is a family ranch, and you'll know it from the moment you arrive. The Van Orden family runs the ranch, and they will warmly welcome you and take a special interest in your kids. The scenery, bordering on Targhee National Forest near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park, is nothing short of spectacular.
You'll enjoy lots of home-cooked meals, ride through the beautiful countryside, swim in the indoor heated pool, go on float trips, square dancing, a whitewater float trip on the Snake River and campfire entertainment and lots of family time together.
There are lots of activities for kids of all ages, including games, arts and crafts, and riding.
Your rate will include lodging, meals, horseback riding, the swimming pool, hot tub, daily maid service, children's programs and all activities at the ranch. During June, July and August we also include a Whitewater Float Trip on the Snake River. Not included in the rates are guided fishing, pack trips, Yellowstone and Grand Teton Park tours.
Accommodations are in comfortable cabins near the main lodge. They consist of two large bedrooms with private bath and coin-op laundry. There is a secluded log ranch house that has five bedrooms, three full baths, full kitchen, laundry room and a magnificent stone fireplace in one of the two living rooms. All units have tub/shower combination baths. Rates for the cabins are: $183/night for adults; $118/night for kids aged 3-7; $148/night for kids aged 8-12. In the Ranch House: $213/night for adults and $133/night for kids aged 3-7; $168/night for kids aged 8-12. They also offer discounts in early June and September.
The ranch is open from June to October and again from December through April.
