This 960-acre, reasonably-priced guest ranch is located in the foothills about 100 miles from Spokane, Washington. The family who runs this ranch raise cattle, and they invite their guests to come and visit them on their spread. Kids must be at least 6 to ride here, but children of all ages will enjoy playing with the animals around the ranch and playing games.
They also offer kids youth camps for ages 10-16, and are limited to 12 kids. Camps begin with basic horsemanship skills and progress as the group allows. Camps conclude with wagon rides, BBQ dinner, and a horse show..
In the winter, guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, sledding, sleigh rides, and downhill skiing located closeby.
The Western Pleasure Guest Ranch offers special summer packages that include: lodging, three meals, and daily rides. Their Bed and breakfast package includes lodging and breakfast. In the evening enjoy a Horse-drawn wagon ride songs around the campfire, or perhaps dancing in the lodge. There is a three-night minimum on all packages. They also offer special rates for family reunions and weddings and retreats. Rates start at: $450/person per adult for the 3-night package and kids aged 6-12; $305/person. Summer packages are valid from June 27- September 15.
