This ranch has been named by Family Circle magazine as one of the best family ranches in the country, and according to a number of reports - the rating is well-deserved. Located in the Ozarks, this resort offers five or six trail rides each day. Children 7 and older can ride on their own horses, and younger ones can double up with their parents or opt for their own pony ride. Babysitting is also offered for an additional fee.
Kids will love playing on their full playground complete with slide, swings, rocking horse and sandbox. Also, a petting zoo is onsite for kids to pet and feed their farm animals. Other activities include: swimming, whirlpool spa, TV lounge, game room with arcade, ping-pong and pool tables, badminton, tennis, volleyball, nature trails, horseshoes and shuffleboard. In addition, guests enjoy fishing on nearby lakes, canoeing, and other activities.
Rates include: lodging, 3 meals a day, all recreation on the ranch including horseback riding at no extra charge. Complimentary boat and motor* (1 trip) and a canoe trip* on the White and North Fork River (*these activities are not on the premises and are included with stays of three nights or more. Rates in the summer are $145/night for adults; $125/night for kids aged 5-12; $75 for kids aged 2-4. Kids under 2 stay free.
The ranch is open March through November for guests.
