The Field Museum of Natural History

This world-famous museum has a superb collection on dinosaur exhibits. In 1994, on the anniversary of the museum's 100th birthday, all the dinosaur displays and mounts were taken down and remodeled to showcase exciting recent discoveries and the newest scientific opinions. Exhibits focus on a large Brachiosaurus, as well as Albertosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Apatosaurus, and mammals such as the mastodon, saber-toothed cat, and the mammoth.

A small admissions fee is charged, and an excellent gift shop is located in the museum.
