This is one of the oldest museums in the United States, and it has used this time wisely to collect a very extensive collection of fossils. At this wonderful museum, you'll see over fourteen complete, life-size dinosaur skeletons (including the much-beloved Tyrannosaurus rex), nests, newly hatched dinosaurs, footprints (don't miss the one you can crawl into!), and animated dinosaurs. Our kids loved the animated Aptosaurus.

The Academy of Natural Science Museum is a great place for families to learn more about dinosaurs . A small admissions fee is charged, and a gift shop and restaurant are available.
